Robin Yazel, LMHC-A
Robin Yazel is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHC-A) with a passion for helping individuals navigate life’s most challenging moments. After earning her BA in Psychology from Bethel University in 2005, she spent two decades working closely with people experiencing trauma, poverty, homelessness, addiction, and mental health struggles.
Robin completed her 600-hour clinical internship at Primary Care Partners of South Bend and now joins our team as our in-house mental health counselor. Her addition marks an exciting milestone in our commitment to whole-person care.
Robin uses a person-centered, humanistic approach to counseling, tailoring her work to each client’s unique needs. She integrates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), somatic practices like EMDR, and trauma-informed care to support clients in meeting their goals.
Her areas of focus include stress, anxiety, depression, OCD, panic disorders, trauma, grief, ACEs, eating disorders, and addiction. A proud mother of three, former foster and adoptive parent, caseworker, and recovery group leader, Robin brings both lived and professional experience to her work.
Robin believes deeply that with connection, insight, and hard work, lasting change is possible. Her commitment to providing high-quality care will give you the confidence and security you need on your journey towards better mental health.
